If it were not for the typical Dunedin weather (wet/cold) there would have been a bigger turn out of Skylines - as it was about seven or eight Skylines did participate but a few went home on the Sunday. You may notice Dad's GTS-4 is not there (excluding the Pulsar and Celica (?) his Skyline would have been the only 4WD and would have been the only one with a big exhaust i think) and the reason for that is that it developed a serious engine problem only a couple of days prior to this event (all fixed now though). So he borrowed a friends Toyota Corolla. Which was NOT powerfull! *cries*

Even though i only said about five or ten words the whole time i really enjoyed myself and travelling in a convoy of cars (especially all of one brand/model) is very awesome and you get plenty of stares/looks - especially from other modified car drivers!

We had KFC for lunch and for (i think) $100 we got enough food for everyone and even some left over for a coleslaw race! Which was quite funny. Earlier in the day (during the cruise) a girl driving the Red Bull Mini Cooper (last pic) saw the convoy and followed us until we stopped then gave out a free can of Red Bull to everyone! I didn't want one though as i don't drink that sort of stuff.

The organisation of the event (i.e. pulling over every now and then so everyone could all bunch back up and then the back car blocking traffic while everyone took off, and the use of radio thingys in the first and last cars etc) and the very friendly people basically made me and Dad decide to do this sort of thing more often.
